This synchronous webinar addresses the basics of transitioning a face-to-face course to the online environment. Participants will be introduced to quality online courses as outlined by SREB Standards, course design using concept mapping, online delivery modes, and Canvas learning modules/units.

Kimberly Ellis



Kimberly Ellis has a master's degree in Instructional Technology, and bachelor's in Business Technology Education -- both from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has 10 years teaching experience in both secondary and postsecondary education.

Kimberly currently serves as the eLearning Coordinator at Pearl River Community College, which is part of the Mississippi Virtual Community College (MSVCC) consortium. As an eLearning Coordinator, Kimberly helps ensure high-quality online courses through training, support, evaluations, and feedback.

Kimberly enjoys spending time with her husband and teenage daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, going to the pottery or yoga studio, and shopping.
